I am always looking for fresh perspectives to enhance the quality of Being Frugal.net.  If you’re interested in guest posting, please read the following before contacting me.

Benefits of Guest Posting

Being Frugal.net has around 5000 subscribers and receives around 1500 unique visitors every day.  That’s a lot of eyeballs on your post!  And since you will get a byline credit with a link back to your site, hopefully that will translate into a lot of visitors to your blog!

Submission Guidelines

  • Article must be your original content and never published anywhere else before.
  • Article must be written by a blogger or blog reader. I do not accept text link advertising, disguised as a guest post.
  • Any topic on personal finance or frugality is welcome.
  • Shoot for 600-1000 words.
  • Feel free to include 2 links back to your site, within the body of the article.
  • No affiliate links, please.
  • Only include images if you own them outright.
  • I reserve editorial and approval rights, including removing links and/or adding my own links, and editing formatting for readability.
  • You are free to republish the article on your site after 3 months.

Additional Tips

  • If you’d like to link to your guest post from your own website, that is always welcome.
  • Submitting your post to social networking sites like Twitter, Stumbleupon, and Tip’d is encouraged, as it increases the exposure of your guest post, hopefully resulting in increased traffic back to your site.

What to Send

  • Your post, preferably in HTML format.
  • A short 3-5 sentence bio, which will appear at the end of your article. Be sure to include a link to your blog and a link to your RSS feed.
