Is it really July 9? This summer has been flying by! I was crazy to think life would slow down a bit, just because the school year was over. I think we’ve been busier this summer than we were during the school year!
It’s all good stuff, though: camp, visits from relatives, playdates, park days…lots of sun and time with friends! And the best part? All of our activities have been relatively frugal! After all, it doesn’t cost anything to go to the local water park, hang out with friends, and watch the kids run wild!

It seems like summer has gone by too quickly for us too! Our daughter turned one about 2 weeks ago and we’ve been busy at home – we just listed it so we’ve done all sorts of painting, cleaning, etc. fun!
I hope summer slows down a bit! :)
Thanks for the link love, Lynnae! I am so excited to be able to pick fresh green beans for the first time this evening. (And i picked up a few tips from your VERY helpful square foot gardening posts, BTW.) Have a great weekend :)
Summer flies by so fast. Before we know it we will be donning sweaters and then winter coats. ARGH!!! Why can’t every day be filled with warm sunny weather…
Good list of links. I especially liked Frugal Dad’s article.
