Two weeks ago, Walmart flew me and the other Walmart Moms to Arkansas for the Walmart Shareholders meeting. Other than the jet-lag I experienced when I arrived back in Oregon, I had a fabulous time! It was nice to see my fellow Walmart Moms again. It was fun to see performers, such as Jamie Foxx, Josh Groban, and Lee Dewyze. But the best part was talking to the execs at Walmart headquarters about what regular shoppers like me like about Walmart…and what we think could be improved.

Speaking of Walmart Moms, one of them is going through a hard time right now. Melissa, otherwise known as the Consumer Queen, lost everything in the Oklahoma floods this last week. If you knew her, you’d know that she has a heart the size of Texas. Despite her own loss, she’s already looking for ways to help her community. I recently found out I’ve been chosen for the TOS Homeschool Crew! Basically that means I get to review all sorts of homeschool products, which is thrilling for me.
