Great post. I sell a lot of books on ebay, and I try to take pictures of what I would want to see as a buyer. For instance, take a picture of the copyright page to prove it is a first edition if you are advertising it as such.

I also agree with the previous poster about specifying if a smoke free home. I do that all the time and some of my items quite often sell for more than others do. I am assuming a lot of it has to do with the products being smoke-free. I bought a book from Amazon once that just reeked when I got it out of the envelope. I just tossed it right into the trash.
