Thank you all for hanging in there with me over the last couple of weeks. The service for my mother-in-law was beautiful. Now we’re back home and enjoying a week of doing pretty much nothing. But next week I need to start some sort of summer break plan.
While we’re on a break from homeschooling, I need to work on some household organization. That’s the one thing that fell apart this year, and I’m hoping to have an organizational plan in place before we start school again.
Being Frugal News
I had the privilege of posting on the Perkstreet Blog this week. Head on over to see what I think about the difference between frugal and cheap.
I’ve also been posting on SC Johnson’s Family Economics blog. I’m the guest blogger for the More With Less category until the end of June!
The Roundup
Stew posts his thoughts on college finances: loans, grants, & community college at Gather Little by Little. I think a lot about this, as my oldest gets closer and closer to high school…then college.
Heather writes about slowing down to save time at Home Ec 101. I really need to follow this advice.
Kacie answered my question about whether it’s more expensive to eat healthy foods with a big YES! at Sense to Save. Though I must say, CSAs in her area are a lot less expensive than where I live! I’m a little jealous.
Emily shows you how to create a home where the living is easy at Simple Mom. Great timing, given the plans I have for summer break.
Glen shows you 80 Ways to Steal Valuable Minutes for Your Work Day at Wisebread. This one is going into my keeper file.
Have a great weekend!
