Friday Financially Savvy Links: Sunshine Edition

Oh my goodness, it’s been a beautiful week here in Southern Oregon! The sun has been out, and the temperature has been in the mid-60s. The kids have been having fun playing soccer and basketball outside.

I’d love to think spring is around the corner, but as one of my fellow homeschooling moms said yesterday, this is the “February Fake-Out.” Every February the weather gets warm for a week or two. Then we hit a cold snap. So I’m going to not think about the cold snap and just enjoy the nice weather while it lasts!

The Roundup

Enjoy the reading! I’m off to a busy day of pizza and a field trip! Have a great weekend!

It’s our February Summer week – as we call it up here on the NW Coast… I’m using it as bonus garden time…. pruned the roses, sprayed the weeds, chopped down some wayward berries, and am working on putting in the new raised garden beds. This weather has been beautiful! Plus I ordered a dozen garden books from the library and am enjoying them in the evenings…raised beds, container gardening, edible landscaping, borders and stepping stones. Time to figure out what the finished yard is going to try looking like :)

Hey! I know who it was that told you about the February Fake-Out! ;-)

Missed you on the field trip… you must have done the 2:00 tour – I was at the 1:00!
