The Best of Being Frugal – 2009

by Lynnae on December 30, 2009 · 6 comments

I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of the posts I’ve written over the last year.  So I picked a favorite from every month.  Tomorrow I’ll give you my analysis of how my year went financially, and on Friday we’ll take a look at what I hope to accomplish in 2010!  Enjoy!

JanuaryA Budget Provides Freedom

February: Surviving a Recession – Lessons From Our Ancestors

March: How to Get Out of Debt

AprilOur School Decision and How We Got There

May: You Tell Me: Are Newspapers on the Way Out?

June: Frugal Options for TV and Movie Buffs

July: Perhaps the Government Needs to be Educated in the Value of an Emergency Fund.

August: Don’t Get Hacked or Scammed

September: Is Your Escrow Money Safe?  Maybe Not!

October: Does a Bad Economy Equal a Sad Christmas for the Kids?

November: Don’t Wait Until January to Think About Budgeting

December: “You Need a Credit Card to Establish Credit”

I’m still amazed that I’ve been writing for two and half years, and I haven’t run out of things to say yet.  I’ll have to ponder what that says about me.  :)

Thanks for the best of! I am a new reader as well and I did post a comment on the TV/Movie post even though it is from June!
