Thank a Veteran Today

I’m taking the day off to celebrate Veteran’s Day.  The plan was to go to a local veteran’s memorial, but the boy has a cold, so I’m not sure that’s going to work out.

I’d just like to take a moment to recognize and thank those who have served and are serving in the armed forces.  Because you were and are willing to put your lives on the line, we enjoy our freedom.  Thank you for making the sacrifices you do for the benefit of our country.

God Bless You.

Lynnae – Thnx for the post. I’m asking us to do more here and be aware there are 131,000 HOMELESS VETS in America today! We need to spread awareness and let our local representatives know this is UNACCEPTABLE.

I wrote a post about it today. Please help spread the word about the unfortunate situation of so many who served our country the most!
