Been budgeting and using Dave Ramsey's baby steps, but the budget I have on my home computer is nothing more than a basic spreadsheet. I would love to have a more complete and more helpful, but still easy to use, program for budgeting, like YNAB.

Hi! I host the NYC Private Investors Meetup Group and I "tweet" about the psychology and discipline of investing for a living. I represent a growing demographic segment of Boomers who are wedged between their aging "Greatest Generation" parents (triggering the biggest transfer of weath in the history of the world) and their emerging Gen Xer children (squeezing out the Boomers for the remaining "good jobs" in our shape-shifting economy).

We now understand that multiple streams of income - and NOT just depending on a traditional job - will be the key to surviving and thriving. I would like to try this software to see if it can integrate into an overall "financial survival plan" for full-time traders and investors.

We're not the "fat cats" and Wall Streeters of the old stereotype! We're just humans who have been clobbered by the economy and the job market and need to turn our remaining savings (our "301Ks") into a livelihood.

If I win, hooray! If not, thanks for listening!

I am in desperate need of creating a budget. We are trying to get out of Credit Card Debt so we can have baby number 2. I know if we can get on a budget we will be able to get out of debt much quicker.

My husband and I have been procrastinating doing this for months. We have good intentions but seem to lack the organization to make a budget work for us. I downloaded the trial YNAB and think that this is exactly what we need to get ourselves on the track to debit elimination. Thank you so much for introducing this software to us!
