I stumbled upon your blog this morning, and am glad that I did. I just signed up with SwagBucks too! I've been forgetting to actually use it, but I have accumulated 30-something Swagbucks so far. Thank you for the reminder!

Fab deal! I recently posted about some dumb luck I ran into when I was taking advantage of a sale -- I kept getting $25 off of one item on each of my four transactions, instead of just the one time. So I got a couple of items I couldn't otherwise have afforded to replace and I got a Christmas gift for my mom (normally $32) for $6.30 and I'll get $.063 cents back from Ebates.

Like you, I love Swagbucks! I'm getting Tim his $200 PSP bundle this year through Swagbucks. 45 SB per $5 Amazon gift card adds up quite quickly. (And for Target lovers, you can get Target gift cards through Amazon cheaper than using Swagbucks to get the GCs directly.)

Glad to see you made such a great deal -- even made money by my count -- on your Swagbucks/JC Penney deal.

Have you tried Justice for you dd? They have 40% off now, that makes it a pretty good deal. I find I need for my dd to try things on though, as sizes can be all over the place.

Sounds like you got some great deals! My children are younger and for me the trick has been a huge consignment sale that they have twice a year here. I sell of clothes that my children have outgrown making some money and then more importantly buying clothes are reduced prices for my children. It is a win-win. I have done some "splurging" this year - meaning I bought clothes new - through similar types of things to what you mentioned. There are deals to be had out there. My daughter is 4 and most of the time will only wear a dress, which has limited my choices, but if you look you can usually find great deals. It can be SO hard though to resist those super cute clothes (or at least until I see the price tag at full price).
