Friday Linkfest: Smoke & Fire Edition

Medford Fire

It’s been a wild week here in Southern Oregon.  Monday a major fire erupted in Ashland, Oregon, and by that afternoon there was a major fire going in Medford, just north of Ashland!

Amazingly, though the fires were big, only one home burned, and it was unoccupied.  On top of that, nobody was hurt!  A big thanks go out to the firefighters, who did such a great job!

Now that the fires are under control, we can breath a sigh of relief…but we can’t breathe, as the smoke is pretty bad still.  I’ll take smoke over fire any day though.

Hey, we don’t want Oregon to burn like California!
