One of the things I love most about blogging is the accountability. After posting about my struggles on Monday, I have worked hard to reach my goals for the week, and I have succeeded.
I’ve spent time reading my Bible and in prayer every morning, before turning on the computer. And last night I revamped my budget in YNAB, and I’m excited to have a fresh start. Now to get on with the business of paying down our debts, which at this point consist of student loans and our house.
Thanks for all of your encouragement on Monday. You’ve really motivated me to strive to do better!
News of Note
This week I was made aware of a project by Care on Credit for college students, called Debt Free U! I’m thrilled to see a site dedicated to helping college students make wise financial choices.
Green Panda Treehouse is giving away an HP bundle that includes a laptop, a netbook, and software to sync the two. You only have until midnight EST tonight to enter, so head on over there!
