Take Time To Remember

Today, Memorial Day, is a day many of us will be spending time with friends and family.  We’ll be enjoying fun in the sun and good BBQ.  It’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of the day and forget the true reason we celebrate Memorial Day.

As you go about your day today, please take time to remember those who have fought and died for the freedom we enjoy.  If you know a soldier or a family of a soldier, thank them.

To my readers who are in the military, to the families of those in the military, and to those who have lost loved ones in the line of duty, thank you.  Words don’t seem to be enough.  You have made such enormous sacrifices, so the rest of us can enjoy our freedom…freedom to speak our minds, freedom to worship, freedom to vote.  We are fortunate to live in such freedom, and I pray we never take your sacrifice for granted.

Have a blessed Memorial Day.

Thank you for remembering us. Many forget what the day is about. Believe me, it is our utmost pleasure to fight for the freedom of fellow Americans.

God Bless you and your family!

Please remember that the 25th was Memorial Day – OBSERVED! Just so we can get a 3 day weekend. Memorial Day is actually the 30th of May EVERY YEAR!
