Thanks for sharing all of these great resources! I am so disorganized and it drives me crazy. I actually just went out and used some of my bday money to buy all of the supplies for my coupon organization……once I get that all figured out, I will feel so much better about myself! :-)

What great timing. I was just talking to my husband about this very thing. Every since my baby girl was born 6m ago (or maybe ever since I got pregnant 14m ago) I haven't been able t get back into my groove. I used Flylady for a while & loved it, but I recently tried to sign up again & they've changed their format. That's just an excuse I need to just get started. Baby steps, right? Hey there! Found you about a week ago and have been going through old posts. I really like your website and find all your info practical. I was wondering something though…. I was visiting the websites you posted today and I am wondering if Menus4Moms now charges. Everything I found was for a price, unless I missed something? Did they change since you origianly posted this?

This post hit me at just the right time! I have been feeling somewhat overwhelmed lately due to unorganization. One of the big things I noticed when I am not organized, it affects my health. I don't sleep very good, I find myself not eating as well either. And that starts to make me stressful. And that effects not just me, but my family. So, it becomes a vicious cycle. I used to belong to Flylady and it really helped me feel "in control". I didn't do everything exactly as she talked about but, it did help a lot in keeping a simplier routine and therefore, things fell into place much easier. I have a bad habit of avoidance. I put off something as simple as returning a late library book because it takes on a whole new life in my head. I don't know why I let it build up, but there you go. I'm pretending that acknowledging my behavior is my first step toward changing it. (I have gotten better.) That said, I post weekly dinner menus + grocery lists at my site on Mondays, six meals designed to feed 4 - 6 people with leftovers eaten for lunch. Organization does not need to be overwhelming. All it takes is small steps on a daily basis. I find that it is even somewhat self-sustaining, as long as I am consistent. The goal once I moved out of remodeling phase was for me to empty all the boxes and what didn’t fit easily into my tiny house had to go. Unfortunately, I have not made enough progress in that area. Finding a place for everything is not happening. So this week I had started throwing all the misfits on the kitchen table – there is a big pile – and either finding a permanent place or into the ‘gone’ box they are going – to donate to the local charity thrift stores.

So, I ordered 2 of the books online from my local library – I’ll get an email when they are in for me to pick up. And I’ll check out the online book. The flylady has great ideas, but the amount of emails was too much. I just followed some of the online stuff.
