I wonder if it is because of the large numbers living in the cities - I'd like to see the happiness index divide between the rural and city.... then maybe there'd be a bigger difference. I for one am happy! No debt, let alone mortgage debt. No foreclosure - obviously with no debt... and no unemployment for me.... However, if I look at a relative who lives in the big city.... he's had all 3.... therein lies the difference!
