I have a confession to make. I haven’t read any blog posts this week. And if I haven’t read blog posts, I can’t do a roundup. That said, I’m still going to highlight a blog of the week and make a couple of announcements.
Blog of the Week
Next up in the blogs from my feedreader is:
Blissfully Domestic is actually an online magazine, so if you subscribe, be prepared for a lot of articles to hit your feed reader! But they’re great articles! Blissfully Domestic covers many areas of life, from frugal living, to home decor, to parenting, to crafting…..and I could go on and on and on. They have a great team of writers and editors, so the posts are top notch!
News of Note
I mentioned yesterday that I’m featured in the April issue of Redbook. Well, now the article is online, if you’re too frugal to buy the magazine. And believe me, I’m usually too frugal to buy magazines, too. Anyway, you can find the article featuring Amy from Mom Advice and I right on the Redbook site. All in all, I was happy with the way the article turned out. They accurately represented me, which made me happy. The only thing about the article that concerns me is the fact that they recommend freecreditreport.com at the end. Please people, do not use freecredit report.com. It’s not free. Use annualcreditreport.com instead. That one is really free. I’ve actually written about freecreditreport.com before, if you want to know why I advise against them.
As I mentioned yesterday, my site is mostly back to normal after the crash. Unfortunately there are a lot of things that are messed up on the back end of the blog. At the moment, the formatting of pictures is really messed up. I’m going to try to fix that today, but if I can’t there will be no pictures on my posts for a while. I didn’t want anyone to think I was getting lazy. :)
And speaking of my disappointment with my current webhost, I’m changing webhosts, probably next week. Because of that, things might seem a little wonky around here for a couple of days, but after that, thinks should be 1000% better. Yes, I did say 1000%, because it can’t get much worse than it is right now. So please hang in there with me, and I promise we’ll get the technical difficulties figured out.
I hope you all have a great weekend! Now that I’m finally rested up from SXSW, I need to clean house and catch up on writing today!
