During Frugal Coast2Coast on Monday, a listener asked Jenn and I about our favorite books.  One of Jenn’s readers asked if we could reproduce our lists in print, so here it is!  A list of my favorite books and authors.

One the Fiction I have too many to list but I just read “The Last Lecture” and it ranks up high on my list and I am getting ready to read “Anna Karenina” for a college class!

Thanks for the list! One of my favorite books is “The Glass Castle” by Jeanette Wall. It is the story of her childhood and family. I will put “Your Money or Your Life” on my reading list.
Alisha,
I read “Anna Karenina” years ago and I liked it, but I had trouble keeping the Russian names straight! I suggest writing down a cast of characters to keep everybody straight.

I have read several of these and they rank up there with my favorites.

For organization I like Sidetracked Home Executives (shesintouch.com) and also House Works by Cynthia Townley Ewer (organizedhome.com). I too like Sink Reflections (flylady.net).

The Tightwad Gazette is a great book, as is the Economides’ book and also the Miserly books.

Great list. I’ve read many of them but will be checking out some of the ones I haven’t read. By the way, I nominated you for an award on my blog. Thanks for the great tips I’ve learned over the past few months!
