So, the busyness of life seems to never slow down. Sam is just fine, and had a great time on Friday night. And his knee is healing up well.
But now both of my kittens are sick. Finding a vet was on my to-do list this week anyway, because I know I need to get the kittens vaccinated, but instead of taking my time, I’ll be calling around to different vets today. Fortunately I have a few good recommendations from friends.
So, I’m taking the day off today to care for my furry friends and catch up on a few things that got put off when I was taking care of Sam and the kittens. I’ll be back tomorrow with Tightwad Tuesday. Have a great day, everyone!

Life does has that tendency to take a bit out of your time when you aren’t totally expecting it. Since Tuesday, I’ve been busy with daughter, who had an emergency appendix removal, and taking care of those two grandkids while Mom was in hospital. And worse, daughter lost a week of 2nd year of college during midterm week. Luckily, it is community college and the instructors are great about re-do’s! Looks like tho she will be missing 1.5 weeks of school, plus 2 wks of work, and not having insurance, it’s all a bit!
I had a feral/stray cat adopt me this past summer. Now that she has finally tamed up a bit, and with the help of United Paws’ feral spay program, she has an appointment tomorrow for her spay and shots etc. I don’t think she’ll be real happy with me tomorrow night!
Good luck with your two, and I bet your son will be showing off the scars today at school! haha!

Hope your furry friends feel better soon. Give them an extra hug from me.

Hope your kittens get well soon! I have two doggies and it’s not a good day for me when they get sick.

Awww… Nothing is sadder than a sick cat. I hope the kittens are better soon!

You might want to call your Humane society and see if they recommend a vet. Sometimes you can find a discounted vet through them!

My “babies” are doing better tonight. I went to a vet recommended by a friend, and they weren’t too expensive.
After eating some medicated food, both kittens have perked up some. The vet didn’t think it was anything serious.
And yeah, my son is telling everyone the story of how he rode his bike with no hands, cut his knee, and was glued back together. LOL
