If one does not eat out, there are no condiment packets, so one must coupon/sales/great buy them and stockpile :)

You know you're frugal when you have buckets in the shower to catch the extra water for watering the plants/garden.

You know you're frugal when you do most of your Christmas and birthday gift buying at garage sales, and get complimented on your great gives :)

You know you're frugal when you build your new woodshed out of totally salvaged/scrounged/free lumber and beams from the local free fire wood pile at the dump. :) (Have you priced an 8x10 shed lately? With hardware, nails, hasp, and hinges, I spent about $110 total on my new shed! Custom made too! The local lumber yard is selling similar ones for $1999.00. :) BIG SMILE!

You know you're frugal when you're driving a 35 year old Datsun pickup that you hand brush painted hunter green and named Sweetpea :) (She hauls my free firewood for me)

You know you're frugal when you attend a $1 bag sale and roll and stuff 10 fluffy adult bathrobes into the $1 bag and use the cleaned material to sew jammies and sweats for your grandkids :) (That's 10 cents a robe, and one robe makes more than one top and jammie pants for one kid)

Ok - you get the picture :)

Amiyrah, so do you just throw away the small condiments packages you get from some restaurants if you don't use them? ;-)

I had to laugh at #10 .. There are lots of radio ads right now that talk about California's water supply and how not to be a California water waster....

My husband absolutely drives me nuts with the lights. Even if I'm in a room he thinks I don't need the light on and will just turn it off.. I'm like "Hellllooooo?, I'm in here!" lol but he is awful with the water..

He will turn it on and just walk away so I'm always turning the water off and telling him he's a California Water Waster.. It's got to the point if I'm in the other room, I can just yell "California Water Waster!" and he will turn it off.. :)

number 1 is definitely for cheap people, not frugal people. A frugal person will get name brand condiments but wait for a good sale on it, find a good coupon, and stockpile enough for a year lol.
