Happy Friday, everyone! I’m so glad to see this week end, mostly because it’s been really busy, and I haven’t had enough sleep! We’re slowly getting unpacked, and late this morning we will be adding two new members to our family…two homeless kittens. We rescued them from having to be turned over to the animal shelter. My kids are so excited!
Being Frugal News
There’s lots going on this week, so I’ll get right to it.
~The Walmart campaign I’m a part of is kicking off a contest today on their YouTube site. All you have to do is upload a video with your money saving tip to their youtube site before December 16. The top 10 videos will receive a year’s worth of groceries, and the 10 runners up will receive a FLIP video camera.
~I’m kicking off a new site, Frugal Mom Reviews! I’m looking forward to reviewing products and services, so you know whether something is worth your money before you make a purchase. To celebrate the launch, and to promote Walmart’s new campaign, I’m giving away a FLIP digital video camera (and posting a review as well) at Frugal Mom Reviews. ~Staying on the Walmart campaign theme, I’m flying off to Bentonville, Arkansas next Thursday for a very brief trip to see Walmart headquarters and meet a few people. It’s going to be a quick trip, but I’m looking forward to meeting the other mom bloggers and seeing Walmart headquarters.
~And moving on to other news, my interview on the economic crisis with Marketplace Money aired last weekend. I still haven’t had the opportunity to listen, but you can find the link here.

Hey Lynnae! I don’t post many comments, but I do read faithfully =) I live in Bentonville, AR and I just wanted to say that it’s really beautiful right now! Some of the trees are just starting to turn and it’s so pretty. But I think we may be getting some rain next week, so pack an umbrella =)
