Hi everyone!
It feels like I haven’t written a blog post in forever! At this point my family is moved into my dad’s house, and my daughter has started school. She did really well at her new school yesterday, and she was excited to go back today. So that’s a relief for me. Sam starts kindergarten next week, and he’s really looking forward to it.
I’m still adapting to my new surroundings. I’m grateful that my dad offered us a place to stay while we wait for our house to be ready. And for the most part, things are going well. Blogging, however, has gotten much more difficult.
I can’t get my laptop hooked up to my dad’s internet connection, and my whole family is sharing one computer. That cuts way back on the time I can work. It also means that I can’t download things like photos for use in my posts.
Then this morning, something went wonky with my site, and I couldn’t write anything. So Kyle’s Coupons will run tomorrow morning. I’m hoping to schedule Friday and Monday’s posts today, and then when Sam goes to kindergarten on Monday, maybe I’ll hit a coffee shop and schedule posts for the next week.
So, I probably won’t be around a whole lot until we get moved into our house (hopefully the 13th, but probably the 20th). You can always reach me by email, though.
I miss my daily blogging routine, and I can’t wait until I can get back into it!

same here, one doesn’t need to post daily to keep readers. I follow several blogs that only post every week or two.

We miss you, but we have all been in spots like this and I for one am so pleased that you have a new house and happy family. Take your time, we’ll be here for you when you get back up to speed.

What an exciting time for your family. Maybe the Internet problem is a blessing in disguise–you can spend more time with your family and planning your new house!
I bet your dad is very happy to have you all with him. My daughter and son-in-law just moved in with us while their new house is being built. I love it!
