Roundups

Sam Graduates.jpg

Sam with his preschool teachers on graduation day.

It’s been another busy week. Soccer season ended, my son graduated from preschool, we attended an art show at my daughter’s school, and my son’s preschool had their end of the year picnic…in the rain.

On the upside, for the first Saturday in six weeks, we don’t have an early soccer game to attend. So as this post goes live, I’ll be grabbing a couple extra hours of precious sleep! Other than relaxing with my family, I have no plans for this weekend.

Being Frugal News

Next Saturday is Being Frugal’s one year anniversary, so look for a giveaway! It’s hard to believe I’ve been blogging almost a year. Time flies when you’re having fun!

Madison at My Dollar Plan put together the May Edition of PF blogs ranked by subscriber numbersI remained at #19, the same as last month. If you’d like to help me pass Lazy Man and Money and Generation X Finance, feel free to subscribe to Being Frugal, if you don’t already.  :) (What’s RSS?)

I participated in two carnivals in the last couple of weeks. I participated in the 125th Festival of Frugality at Quest for Four Pillars on May 12, but forgot to link back to it. Hopefully Four Pillars will forgive me. He picked my post on frugal weddings as an editor’s pick!

I also participated in the Carnival of Debt Reduction at Prime Time Money this week. My Goodbye Citibank! post was also an editor’s pick!
