This is a post about a lot of things, tied up neatly with a bow.
I have lots of stuff to share with you today, so I thought I’d put it all in one post and wrap it up with a tidy bow.
First of all, I’d like to welcome Mrs. Micah to the M-Network! If you haven’t read Mrs. Micah’s blog, you should check it out. She is one of the most energetic bloggers I’ve come across, and her mind is always going, making for a lot of great posts.
Speaking of Mrs. Micah, she has just launched Finwikian, a new personal finance wiki! Don’t know what a wiki is? It’s a user driven information portal. That means you can register and add information (just keep it clean and on topic please). If your personal finance blog isn’t listed yet, feel free to add it. Being Frugal.net is already listed, so check out my page!
Next, March Madness is still going strong! My post It Hit Me Like a Ton of Bricks won the first round! So thank you to all who voted for me. Next it will be going up against the formidable Ana from DebtFREE-Revolution. I’ll let you all know when the voting begins, because I’m going to need some help!
My second entry for March Madness, How I Taught My Preschooler the Value of a Dollar is in competition right now, so if you have a moment, please vote for me. Just leave a comment on the competition post, telling FMF that you are voting for "Dollar" in game 29. Thanks! Again, I’m playing for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and if one of my posts wins the tournament, $500 will be donated! This is an important cause for me, so I’d love to do well!
Now that the business in out of the way, on to the Carnivals! I participated in the following carnivals this week:
- The Carnival of Debt Reduction at No Credit Needed.
- The Carnival of Financial Goals at the Dividend Guy. My post was an editor’s pick!
- The Carnival of Personal Finance at The Baglady.
- The Carnival of Money Stories at Piggy Bank Blues.
A big thank you to all the hosts. Hosting a carnival is a lot of hard work!
That’s all for today! I’ll be back tomorrow with two new posts. Look for advice on budgeting with an irregular income early in the morning and some advice for Father Sez’s friend later in the morning.
