I hate paying full price for things, so I looks for good deals before I spend money.
One of the strategies I use to save money is stay out of the stores. It works pretty well, but there are times when you just have to buy things. Things like groceries, toiletries, and toilet paper. You can’t just stop buying these things.
So on these things I go searching for deals. There are tons of great deals to be found on the internet. And there are tons of message boards, blogs, and coupon sites to help you find the deals. I’ll share some of my favorites.
Money Saving Mom. Crystal, the money saving mom, always posts the great deals at Walgreens and CVS. We don’t have a CVS where I live, unfortunately, but I check out the Walgreens deals that Crystal posts every week.
Sense to Save. Kacie has a knack for finding good deals that she passes on to her readers. Recently she told us about some great coupons and good deals at ebates.
Rather-Be-Shopping. If it’s online coupons you’re looking for, Kyle’s site is the place to go! He has a great blog, too!
Fishing for Deals. I have to be careful about spending time on the Fishing for Deals forums. If I spend too much time there, it’s easy to spend money on things I don’t need. That being said, the forums are a great place to find deals, whether you’re looking for online deals, in-store deals, coupon deals….anything. And if you don’t see the deal you’re looking for, there’s even a forum where you can ask the “fishies” to see if they can find one for you! You have to sign up to see most of the forums, but it’s free and worth the time, in my opinion.

I find a lot of deals at deals forums like http://www.fatwallet.com or slickdeals.net. Pricegrabber is another one that i sometimes use.

I love our free community newspaper that actually gets delivered to my front door once a week - free! It contains all our local grocery store flyers and the major department store ads for the week. As well as listing within the paper, all the sales going on at the smaller mom & pop places. It can be a very helpful resource. And like Pete - I’m big fan of fatwallet.com - it’s a terrific place to find deals, coupons, freebies, etc.

I love quality resale stores. There is a big difference between the low-grade “thrift stores” vs. a quality “resale store”, and I have found some fabulous items from clothing, shoes, furniture and decorations for the home.
Quality resale stores are very particular about what items they will accept from consumers on a donation or consignment basis. I love browsing through these stores, and have many times discovered frugal decorating ideas from doing so.

Here is my favorite for coupon codes they also have a deal blog with an occasional interesting tech deal, but always lots of freebies.
I like slickdeals for the forums, but it is lot of work to wade through every thing.
I used to use Fat Fingers for finding, but I have recently discovered a much better tool for finding bargains on ebay: Typo Buddy it also works for craigslist.
I used to use fat wallet, but now I like dealighted which finds te best of FW other sites.
Finally this thing is great for finding Amazon Discounts

I go to dealspl.us and dealigg.com while its not everyday but these sites have saved us about 200$ for the things that we were flexible about buying

Money saving mom is such a great site. I don’t have to deal with all those confusing forums, she just tells us the important stuff. I do use a forum at HotCouponWorld.com for my grocery store as it isn’t covered in the grocery game.
