This morning I had the chance to
drink my coffee and write in peace!
I can’t believe how quiet it is here this morning! Jim is at a worship leader’s conference for the rest of the day, and Liz spent the night with a friend. So it’s just Sam and me here holding down the fort. He’s immersed in Word World (a PBS show, for those of you who don’t have 5 year olds), giving me a moment to write my roundup post.
Before we get to the roundup, I’d like to share some exciting news! This week has been big here at Being Frugal! Thursday I passed the 900 subscriber mark, and yesterday Being Frugal had it’s 100,000th visitor! So thank you, my readers! I wouldn’t have any subscribers or visitors without you!
If you have no idea what subscribing is, it’s an easy way to read Being Frugal without having to hunt down my site every day. If you subscribe by RSS, you can have Being Frugal delivered right to your feed reader. I use Google Reader, myself. It’s free and easy to use. If you don’t know what RSS is, I just wrote about it on my other blog, so check it out. It really does make life easier if you read a lot of blogs!
If you prefer to get Being Frugal delivered every morning via email, enter your email address here. Don’t forget to check your email for a confirmation email. Check your spam folder too. You need to click the confirmation email before you will be subscribed. And both RSS and email subscriptions are free, so there’s no reason not to check it out. :)
Also, I was interviewed at My Two Dollars on Wednesday! I had never been interviewed by a fellow personal finance blogger before, so that was pretty exciting for me!

Thanks for the mention! :)
Congrats on the great numbers :)
Thanks for the round-up….it’s always nice discovering even more frugal blogs to add to my ever-growing RSS feed list!
Congratulations! Very impressive especially for us newer bloggers!
Thanks!
Congrats on reaching this point, Lynnae! :D
Thanks for the link.
Mike
Thanks for including me. Funny, that confessions post was written with a sincere fear it would tank my whole website; however it’s been linked by a number of blogs, and received more comments I think than any post I’ve ever written. Just goes to show you how great of a community the personal finance writers and readers are!
Thanks Lynnae, glad you got some “quiet time”. I’ve heard of of…never experienced it!
Oh, btw…REALLY like the way you’re doing your pictures now!
