It’s going to be a short roundup this weekend (though I promise it will be good). I’ve been working on an organizing project and was up waaaaaay too late last night. And then I got up way too early this morning. Which basically means my brain is mush. But that’s OK, because there were a lot of great blog posts to read this week.
In no particular order, here are my favorite Christmas themed posts of the week:
- This Season Give Your Child the Gift of Fiscal Responsibility at Wise Bread
- 8 Tips for an Unsuccessful Office Holiday Party at Consumerism Commentary
- Getting Your Blog Ready for Christmas at Problogger.net
- Frugal Friday #33: Saving Money on Christmas at Thrifty Mommy (don’t miss this one)
- Best of Family Traditions for Christmas on the Cheap Part 1 at Frugal Upstate
- Does Anyone Actually Receive a New Car for Christmas? at My Two Dollars
- Thirteen Things I Won’t be Shopping for This Christmas at Stop the Ride!
- Don’t Call Me a Grinch Because I Didn’t Get You an iPod at A Penny Saved
- And the Shopping Season Began….at DebtFREE-Revolution
- How Much to Tip This Holiday Season at Free Money Finance
And here’s one more post I added at the last minute. This Will Be the Best Christmas…Ever… at Ramblings of a Redneck Woman. This is the attitude I want to have this season!
That should give you some reading to kick off your December! We already have our first Christmas party to attend tonight. Where did the year go?

Thanks for all these links, I’d seen some of them already but the rest were new to me. A perfect way to get me in the holiday mood.
