I love beginnings! The beginning of a new season, the beginning of a new month, the beginning of a new year…. It’s a chance to learn from your mistakes and start over. A chance to do better. Not that I beat myself up about my mistakes, but I love a fresh start and a new challenge.
And the new month is starting off well here at Being Frugal. I went from 326 subscribers on Thursday to 404 subscribers yesterday. I just want to take a moment to thank all of my subscribers and my readers who don’t subscribe. I love the conversation that happens here on the blog. I love getting to know my readers, and I love the ideas and suggestions you come up with! So thank you!
Now on to the roundup.
From around the blogosphere:
- How I Paid Off my Mortgage in 38 Days at Debt Reduction Formula. It’s really simple.
- Frugal Food Hacks: 10 Ways to Simplifying Online Recipe Searches at Cheap Healthy Good. Lots of good advice here.

Thanks for the mention, Lynnae! I really appreciate it.
Nice roundup. Talking about Walmart. I order some baby stuff online, and later found out from Citibank fraud group that someone charge over a $1,000 on electronics as well. Good thing Citibank fraud protection is great.
