Kyle at Rather-be-Shopping tagged me with the 5 classes to fix my life meme. And here I thought I was finished with school forever. I guess not.

Here are the rules for the meme:

“Devise a list of 5-10 courses you would take to fix your life. It’s more fun to be in classes with friends, so include one class from the person who tagged you that you’d also like to take. Tag five.”

So if I had to go back to school, these are the 5 classes I would take to fix my life.

  • Plumbing 101 – This is the class I’d take with Kyle. Don’t laugh. I’m the fix-it woman around the house here. I let my husband deal with people, and I deal with the things. It works for us, since I’m the introvert, and he’s the extrovert. On the other hand, maybe I don’t need this class. My landlord was pretty impressed the time I fixed the garbage disposal with baking soda and vinegar. A pretty frugal fix, too, I might add. :)
  • Web Design 101 – You all don’t know how many times I’ve messed up my blog by getting into the CSS and HTML. And then my husband wanted me to design the website for his new business. It turned out OK, but someday we’ll pay for someone to make it better. Or maybe I should just sign up for that web design class…. While we’re on this subject, the next class I would have to take is…
  • Enjoying the Spotlight 101 - Now that I’ve linked you to my husband’s website, I guess it’s time to admit that my husband’s name really isn’t Shannon. It’s Jim. And I’m going to have to get used to the fact that I can’t pretend I’m anonymous online. :) I’m one of those people who hates to be up front and center. I’m a background person. I guess I could use some help handling attention gracefully.
  • Organization 101 - This is an area where I have lots of ideas, but they rarely get put into practice. As I’m looking at my embarassingly messy desk, I realize that I need all the help I can get. And here I am giving away home organization books on my other blog. What was I thinking? I need them myself!
  • Inventing 101 - Imagine how useful that class would be? I’d invent a machine to clean my house, medicine to take away migraines without side effects, and a time stopping device to add more hours to my day! Sign me up!

Now to tag 5 friends to play along. I’m going to tag:

What an interesting Meme. Not one I’ve seen before. Good answers too.

Wonderful…now I have to figure out some new classes LOL

*and thank the Lord I don’t have to remember to type Shannon now instead of Jim* ;)

I like your choices! I especially like your Inventing class, that would be so cool!

Why don’t you use WordPress for your husband’s site? There are many good themes for businesses.

Ok, I’m going to reveal how much of a non-techie I am. You can use a WordPress theme for a non-blog site?

I may have to look into that. I would certainly be more comfortable using a WordPress theme.
