Weekend Roundup – Soccer Season Starts Edition

Soccer season has started, and I’m going to be spending a good portion of the day watching my kids play!  Hopefully the rain will take a break during the games.  :)

Since you all can’t come watch soccer with me, I’ll give you a little reading.  Here are my favorites from this week.

• Kyle tells us how long to keep financial documents at the Rather-Be-Shopping.com Blog.  I think I need to print this one out and tape it to my desk!
• The Millionaire Mommy Next Door asks if wealth is found in a book.  She lists all of the qualities that she believes made her successful in reaching her goal of financial freedom.  How do you measure up?  Do you have what it takes?  I know I’m working on it!
• Meridith has a unique idea for recording prices for your pricebook at Like Merchant Ships.  I never would have come up with this idea on my own, but I think I’m going to give it a try!

• Brian tells us to negotiate anything and everything at Financial Dominance.com.  I get squeamish about negotiating, but I may have to find some courage and give it a try.
• glblguy tells us which Wordpress plugins he uses at Gather Little by Little.  I found a few new-to-me plugins on that list.  It’s a great resource!
• Paidtwice shows us how not getting what we want can sometimes be a blessing in disguise.
• Visit Moolanomy for a new take on the seven deadly sins and how they relate to money.  It’s a great read!
