The Carnival of Personal Finance is up at Advanced Personal Finance. I participated with Paying off Debt is all About Choices.
There were a lot of great submissions this week, and the way Advance Personal Finance put it all together made for a very entertaining read. There were a few posts that really stood out to me. I liked Finding the Money to do What You Want at Fabulously Broke in the City. I also like the Prince of Thrift’s practical list on ways to save money.
And you absolutely have to read Is it Cheaper to be Nudist? at the Saving Advice blog. I was laughing so hard that my family heard me from the other side of the house!
I submitted my post What Little House on the Prairie Taught Me About Debt to the Carnival of Debt Reduction. This week the carnival is hosted at DebtFREE-Revolution.
I particularly enjoyed getting out of debt the British way at Plonkee Money. I also really liked 7 Things I’ve Given Up to Prune my Expenses at Gather Little by Little. There’s a great discussion going in the comments for that post, too!
Finally, I participated in the Festival of Frugality with One Must be Organized to be Frugal. There are a lot of good articles over there, too. Jeanjeanie at Growing up posted a great article about improving her grocery budget. She includes lots of great links, so it’s worth stopping by to check it out!
For more articles from the Festival of Frugality, head over to Bean Sprouts!
So now you know my favorites. Go check out the carnivals for yourself, and then share your favorite picks!
