It is definitely hard, but it’s very worth it to be organized. Of course I say this as there are papers all over my desk. I guess I know what I’m doing when the kids go back to school this week. :)

Great compilation of info here! Sometimes it’s hard to keep your nose to the organizing grindstone, but your example is a great reminder of the benefits–to your money and your time!

This great and the timing couldn’t be better. I’m on a mission to declutter right now. I’ve been checking out Flylady, but as mentioned she gets a bit overwhelming. I’ll definitely be checking out “Getting Things Done,” because paper clutter is my worst enemy! Thanks for posting on this topic!

Very good topic. Everone does get buried every once in a while and you are right! It sure can cost money! Late library books, lost coupons…. on and on!

Flylady overwhelms a lot of people. I like Flylady, because I don’t have to think. She tells me what to do and when to do it, and I get it done. I don’t sign up for the emails, though. THAT gets overwhelming. :)
