I’ve Paid For This Twice Already tagged me with “My One Money Advice” (MOMA) Meme. These meme was started by Moolanomy to help promote financial responsibility.
The question: If you can give one advice, tip, or story related to money, what would you share?
My advice is to practice contentment. Realize that money and things aren’t going to make you happy. Until you learn to be content with what you have, no matter what your circumstance, you will constantly be striving to acquire more. The important things in life are people, relationships, your actions, not what you have. When you start to define your self-worth with material things, you begin a never-ending cycle of dissatisfaction.
I’ve found that most of my irresponsible financial behavior takes place when I’m trying to keep up with the Joneses. When I find contentment in my role as a child of God, wife, mother, and friend, I’m more apt to live within my means. When I don’t need “stuff” to make me happy, I stop buying the stuff.
Now I’m going to tag Boomeyers’s Digging out of Debt, Need to Be Debt Free, and Suddenly Frugal.

Tee hee! I’ve never been tagged! I will do my best!
Thank you for your participation. Amen to what you said. Sometimes we forget who we work so hard for. It is sad to see that so many people spend more time at work (physically and mentally) than at home with the family.
Very good advice to think about.
Wow! You should head over to the Savings Advice Website! I tagged everyone in the community and boy did they respond!! Awesome idea!
