It covers anything over $2500 for the year so that's the most I'll be on the hook in any year. It doesn't cover doctor visits or anything routine, but for somebody like me it's probably the best bet. Only after my employer intervene did they stop threatening to send me to collections. Because Health insurers are out for profit, they often do everything possible to deny claims. Glad to hear your dilemma is over! I hope he enjoys the new job. I know how awful that insurance can be. Personally, from the bad experience that I have had, I would pay the extra to be on group insurance for a while, then you can qualify for COBRA if you husband changes jobs again. Wow!
