Ebay Success!

Personal Stories

My auctions ended last night. After Ebay fees, Paypal fees, and shipping costs, I made about $75! I’m going to keep the money in my Paypal account until everyone pays, and then I’m going to transfer it to my bank account and immediately make a payment on the ol’ credit card!

Not bad for a bunch of clothes that we can’t wear anymore!

    Hi,

I have read your story. Most of us were brought up without proper financial education. We were being told a big lie by society and the lie is rich people owe big houses, drive big cars and spend lavishly when the truth is, the richest people in the world live in a modest house, take the subway and always spend on a limited budget.

But you have taken a strong positive step in getting out of debt and work towards financial independence. I wish YOU A BIG SUCCESS!!!

I was quite successful selling a bunch of old book on Ebay and Amazon a while back. Kudos to you for using the proceeds to pay off your debt!

Wow! What a great total! Now that is a sack of groceries! :)
Those ebay fees hang in the account for about a month before they bill you (unless you choose to pay them immediately), so you may want to keep a little in your account to cushion it!

I use ebay a lot for selling old stuff, it’s amazing how effective it can be, i realise this post is a little old now are you still using ebay or is it old news? The best sale i ever made was a CD that i’d bought on ebay a week earlier for £1 ($2) and it sold for £20, $40 the following week!
