These are some of my favorite blog posts of the week.

Philip at Wise Bread talks about the difference between voluntary simplicity and poverty.  There really is a big difference.

Discover 15 More Free Things to Do During a Money-Free Weekend at The Simple Dollar.  I especially like the 101 Goals in 1001 Days list.

JW at Need to Be Debt Free blogs about how he wants to be debt free, so he can make a difference in the lives of others.  It’s a really inspiring story.

The Value of Having an Emergency Fund is the subject of a guest post by Big Honkin at No Credit Needed.

Finally, Mapgirl tells us what she does to live frugally.  It’s quite an extensive and informative list.

I really enjoy reading the personal finance and frugal living blogs out there, and I find new ones every day.  A big thanks to everyone who blogs about staying the course with finances.  You’re really inspiring me to keep on keepin’ on!
